Our Location

The city of Caloundra is surrounded by natural attractions, both local and as part of the Sunshine Coast. Beaches are prominent for swimming, water activites and fishing. Locals flock to the regular entertainment at Kings Beach and the Bulcock Street Markets every Sunday, all within walking distance of Pacific View Resort. Caloundra boasts beach coastline at every turn, with popular family swimming spots Kings Beach and Dicky Beach among the best. Enjoy a quiet splash at Golden Beach during the patrolled Summer months, or the tidal pools at Happy Valley and Bulcock Beach. The Passage offers great fishing with Bells Creek a favourite of the locals.

Natural Attractions

The Sunshine Coast is a glorious combination of hinterland and beaches. Behind Caloundra the world heritage Glasshouse Mountains lead to the Blackall Range, featuring the townships of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton. National parks at Noosa to eco systems in the Pumicestone Passage, the natural beauty is endless.


Rain or shine there's plenty to do! Australia Zoo is just 20 minutes away at Beerwah, with the Big Kart Track on the way and Aussie World's Ettamogah Pub an icon. Closer to the resort, Kings Beach offers a calendar of free entertainment or dining experiences, while the Caloundra Event Centre is host to much entertainment.

Retail Attractions

Shopping starts with the Sunday market at Bulcock Street for many locals. Retail outlets and smaller boutiques are favourites and found near most beach cafes and major centres. Further north, Maroochydore hosts Sunshine Plaza or visit the Eumundi Markets and Noosa's famous Hastings Street. Cafes and restaurants to suit all.
